BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Our current focus is construction of the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.

Artemis Gold received its BC Mines Act permit for Blackwater Mine in March 2023 enabling the project to move into major works construction.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Processing, the Operator - ROM / Crusher is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the Run-of-Mine (ROM) and crushing circuits. Our Processing department is responsible for the efficient and environmentally responsible processing of ore to extract valuable minerals.
Location: Blackwater Mine site - located 160 km southwest of Prince George, BC.
Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
Operate and monitor equipment in the Run-of-Mine (ROM) and crushing circuits, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and feeders, to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
Conduct pre-operation checks and inspections of equipment to identify and address any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
Monitor process parameters, such as feed rates, crusher settings, and product sizes, and make adjustments as needed to optimize circuit performance.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs and adjustments as required to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with field operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues and adherence to production targets.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation
Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team
Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift
Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
