BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Artemis is listed on the TSX Venture exchange, and is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with strong financials aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. Our current focus is construction of the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.

Artemis Gold received its BC Mines Act permit for Blackwater Mine in March 2023 enabling the project to move into major works construction.
Location: Vanderhoof, Prince George or Vancouver Office
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Troubleshooting Fix hardware, software, and network issues, identifying root causes to prevent repeats.
• Team Collaboration Work with staff in IT and other departments to improve processes and user experience.
• Maintenance Check and maintain systems to avoid problems, suggesting upgrades when needed.
• Documentation Maintain IT documentation.
• Technical Support Resolve complex issues for tickets escalated from helpdesk.
• Projects Help with IT projects like upgrades or deployments.
• Travel Visit offices and mine sites for on-site deployments and maintenance, following safety rules.
• On-Call Join the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, keeping staff informed.
• Escalation Escalate complex issues to IT Lead as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in an IT administrator role focused on Microsoft environments.
Technical Knowledge:
- Expertise in Windows Server OS and server hardware troubleshooting, including high-availability clusters and virtualization (Nutanix, Hyper-V, VMWare).
- Proven experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 administration (Azure AD and local AD, Azure virtualization, InTune, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Cybersecurity fundamentals (virus/malware mitigation, authentication, data protection, Purdue Model).
- Ensuring the integrity of enterprise Backup systems.
- Network administration a strong asset (firewall configuration, routing, VLANs, VPN, high-availability).
- Knowledge in FortiGate/Cisco/Ubiquiti network hardware.
- Follow change management and strong documentation skills.
Support Skills:
- Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, remote-support tools.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, especially remotely.
Personal Qualities:
- Confidence and patience; ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Teamwork:
- Proven ability to collaborate with IT peers and other departments to solve complex problems.
Education:
- Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft (e.g., MS-900), or Cisco (e.g., CCNA) CompTIA Server +.
