Overview

Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and execute exploration programs, including mapping, sampling, trenching, and drilling.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret geological data to support resource modeling and project evaluation.
  • Ensure accurate data collection, entry, and management in GIS and database systems.
  • Collaborate with senior geologists and technical teams to identify new targets and advance exploration strategies.
  • Prepare technical reports, cross sections, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all exploration activities are carried out safely and in compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field (Master’s degree an asset).
  • 3+ years of exploration geology experience, preferably in gold or precious metals.
  • Strong field experience in mapping, core logging, and sampling.
  • Proficiency in GIS, 3D modeling, and geological software (Leapfrog, Surpac, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently in remote field conditions and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental best practices.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers licence.
  • Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation
  • Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team
  • Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Knowledgeable in data management and geological and resource estimation tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team effort as well as individually.
  • Strong interpersonal and both oral and written communication skills.
