Overview

BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”).  Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed core logging, including lithology, structure, alteration, and mineralization.
  • Record and maintain accurate geological data and ensure it is entered into database systems.
  • Collect, prepare, and oversee sampling of drill core and RC chips.
  • Work closely with drill crews to ensure smooth operation and accurate sample recovery.
  • Assist senior geologists with interpretation and reporting of drill results.
  • Ensure geological data is organized, accessible, and ready for integration into 3D modeling software.
  • Monitor and uphold safety and environmental compliance during drilling and logging activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field.
  • Previous experience in core or RC logging (precious metals experience an asset).
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail and consistency.
  • Familiarity with logging software, database management, and geological modeling programs (e.g., LogChief, acQuire, Leapfrog, etc.).
  • Ability to work in remote field environments and contribute as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and best practices in exploration and mining.
  • Valid Class 5 drivers licence.
  • Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation
  • Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team
  • Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Knowledgeable in data management and geological and resource estimation tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team effort as well as individually.
  • Strong interpersonal and both oral and written communication skills.
