Key deliverables

Plant Operations Support
• Assist with the daily operation of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Monitor material flow and report blockages, equipment issues, or abnormal operating conditions.
• Support plant operators during startup, shutdown, and routine production activities.
• Help maintain production efficiency by ensuring work areas remain clear and organized.
Housekeeping and Maintenance
• Perform routine cleaning of plant equipment, walkways, conveyors, and work areas.
• Remove spillage and accumulated materials around crushers, screens, and conveyor systems.
• Assist maintenance personnel with repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Use hand and power tools safely to complete assigned tasks.
Safety and Compliance
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site regulations.
• Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training programs.
• Report hazards, near misses, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist with lockout/tagout procedures as directed and trained.
Equipment and Material Handling
• Operate basic support equipment and tools as authorized and trained.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and supplies.
• Conduct visual inspections of equipment and work areas.
• Support inventory and material management activities when required.
Teamwork and Communication
• Work effectively with operators, mechanics, and supervisors.
• Communicate operational concerns and production issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a productive team environment.
May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor labor.
• Experience working around crushing, screening, or conveying equipment is preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn crusher and conveyor operations.
• ability to work independently and follow instructions in fast-paced environments.
• Valid drivers license preferred.
• Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
• Ability to work night shift.
• Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor and industrial environments.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift.
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to wear PPE, respirators and hearing protection.
• Ability work in confined spaces, wear fall protection and work at heights.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
