Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Project Controls Coordinator provides site-based support for cost tracking, timekeeping, and project reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records of project costs, labour hours, and key project data to support effective project delivery. The position works closely with the site team to ensure information is timely, organized, and reliable, while supporting day-to-day coordination needs on site.

Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Cost Tracking & Controls Support
• Track daily and weekly project costs (labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors)
• Maintain cost logs, trackers, and basic commitment records
• Assist in monitoring spend against budget and flag potential issues
• Support invoice tracking, coding, and submission
• Assist with simple cost reports and updates for the Project Manager
• Provide input to basic forecasting updates
Timekeeping & Labour Tracking
• Collect, review, and validate timesheets from site personnel and contractors
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of labour hours
• Track hours against cost codes or work activities
• Maintain organized records for payroll and reporting purposes
Reporting & Data Management
• Prepare weekly site reports (costs, hours, progress highlights)
• Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and project logs
• Update dashboards or reports as required
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across project records
Project Coordination & Administration
• Support the Project Manager and site team with coordination tasks
• Assist with meeting coordination, minutes, and action tracking
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Site Support
• Assist with day-to-day site needs
• Support communication between site and office teams
• Provide general support to supervisors and project leadership
• Contribute to maintaining an efficient and organized site office
• Experience in construction coordination, project support, or similar role
• Exposure to cost tracking, timekeeping, or reporting preferred
• Site-based project experience is an asset
• Diploma or coursework in construction, business, or project management is an asset
• May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.
