Location: Blackwater Mine Site
Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation
· Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems. · Managing, coordinating and scheduling daily earthworks construction activities, such as: - building of roads, accesses, and laydown yards - stripping and developing borrowing areas building and compacting of dams and berms - installing culverts, french drains and ponds - snow removal - road maintenance · Supervision of equipment operators who run the following equipment: rock trucks, water trucks, packers, backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders. · Effective coordination and utilization of onsite resources to deliver the project schedule safely, productively and on time. · The ability to delegate tasks to teams and business partners.

· 10+ years leading large teams in civil earthworks, mining, Tailings Storage Facility or earth dam construction · Proven leadership skills with safety, efficiency, and productivity being paramount · Technical skills: must be able to interpret plans, drawings, maps · Good knowledge and understanding in heavy equipment capabilities and limitations · Time management skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills |
