· Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BWG safety standards, procedures, and safety systems. · Under the guidance of other experienced engineers, lead the detailed design (design basis, specifications, drawings) of future capital projects for site wide electrical infrastructure and power systems. · Conduct and/or oversee electrical/automation Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests. · Provide commissioning support and assist with PLC / HMI development and integration with existing SCADA systems. · Conduct feasibility studies, trade-offs, cost estimates, and risk assessment assessments to evaluate project viability and develop project execution plans.

· A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited university program. · 2+ years of experience in engineering with a focus on capital projects in the mining industry. Experience in mine site development, mechanical infrastructure or processing plant design and commissioning is preferred. · Proficiency with the Microsoft Office. · Familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and ability to interpret and apply relevant industry standards (CSA, ANSI, ISA, IEEE, NFPA, IEC, etc.) for compliant designs. |
